Today (4th January 2024), I found this year's first garden snowdrop (Photo 1).

As usual, for the earliest snowdrop anyway, it could be found in Mary's mini-wood adjacent to the greenhouse (Photo 2).

It is the same snowdrop bulb that produced the first flower in 2023 (Photo 2) albeit 10 days later ...

I have reported this sighting to Nature's Calendar, despite their 'warning' that this is outside its usual flowering period. All I can do is report the evidence (with photo).🤷
